Stop making your molds steel safe, make them adjustable!
Bert's™ Adjustable Inserts
Patent pending.
What is an adjustable insert?
An adjustable insert is a specialized insert that goes into an injection mold that allows you to change features very easily and quickly.
See the video below to see how quickly and easily.
Don't settle for good enough... make your product excellent!
What does an adjustable insert do?
It lets you change:
the height of your feature.
the position of your feature.
both the height and position of your feature.
Our adjustable inserts can accommodate:
proud or recessed features.
axisymmetric or asymmetric features.
You can use them in the core, cavity, a slide, or a lifter.
Most importantly, save you time and money in developing and refining your product.
What's the catch?
They can't be used everywhere and they can't change anything in your part.
There has to be room between the feature you want to adjust and other features that need to stay in place.

Predict rejects per user defined lot size.
Best Practices:
Still working on those but they will be provided to make implementation easy.
Cost
Prices have not been established yet.
Figure the simplest one will cost around $50.
The most complex ones that change height and position will cost several hundred. No guesses at this point.
Compare that to around $500 just to mount a mold and shoot some parts, without making any changes to the part.
